Missoula is a great place to visit a local brewery with friends because there are so many options...that is unless your friends don't drink beer.

If you have a big enough group or one with varied enough tastes, inevitably there will be someone who wants to tag along to the brewery but doesn't want to drink the beer.

Usually, this means opting for bars or restaurants that serve both, or something different altogether. Missoula has other fantastic craft drink options. For cider, you can always go to Western Cider and Montgomery Distillery has signature cocktails made with local spirits. There are also mocktails and nonalcoholic beers, but that doesn't work for those who prefer to drink wine.

There is good news: one of the most popular, community-minded breweries in Missoula now serves red and white wine.

Check out the announcement from Imagine Nation Brewing:

In the Reel, you'll see bottles from DAOU Vineyard which is in California.

According to the post, the addition was due to a new license that not only allows for wine but also allows changes to their drink ticket system (i.e. it's not required anymore). They're also expanding their hours. Now Imagine Nation Brewing will be open until 10 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

If you plan on stopping by this month you might want to do so on a Tuesday for their trivia night, or during one of the Friday or Saturday nights when they have live music.
