Missoula Drivers: A New Speed Limit You Might Be Missing
Missoula has a speed limit change that drivers should be aware of. Occasionally, a change comes along, and it takes a while for people to take notice. For example, on Highway 93 just south of Missoula, between Reed Lane and Buckhouse Bridge, the speed limit is 55 miles per hour. It was 65 miles per hour for years. I am not sure many people have noticed the change, since there are very few drivers who drive 55 miles per hour or under on that road.

Another speed limit change has been implemented on a busy Missoula road. West Broadway from around Palmer Street to the North and South Reserve Street exits has a posted speed limit of 40 miles per hour. It isn’t a big change. It used to be 45 miles per hour, but it’s enough of a change that drivers should be aware of.

Be safe on the road and keep an eye out for changing speed limits; you never know when one might pop up.
