Well, it looks like we're saying goodbye to another restaurant here in Missoula.
This time, it's a chain restaurant that's been part of the community for years.

Missoula's Applebee's location has permanently closed, according to a sign posted on the front door.

Applebee's has been around Missoula for a long time, and there are certainly plenty of people who have their favorite meals, memories and late-night trips to the restaurant.
Now, the doors are closed.
I always appreciated entering the restaurant and seeing pictures of local high school athletic teams on the walls.

So seeing Applebee's close is a little different. This isn't a small, locally owned restaurant. It's a major national chain that's been part of the Missoula dining scene for years.
What’s Next for the Applebee's Location?
Naturally, the big question now is: What's going to happen to the building?
Right now, there is no official word on what is going to happen to that location.
