Another Uplifting Run In Montanan For You and Your Dog

The list of things that Montanans are passionate about is a long one. Here in Montana, we don’t let a little thing like the weather stop us from doing what we want. If we want to have a Brew Fest in the winter, then let’s do it. If we want to pull skiers with horses, we are on it. If we want to put on a Half-Marathon, yep, we are good to go.

More Proof Seeley Lake Montana Is Awesome 

Seeley Lake is a spectacular winter playground for a lot of different activities, so let’s add a Half-Marathon to the list. The annual “Snow Joke Half-Marathon" is coming up on Saturday, February 25th. This a great chance for runners to stay in shape for some of the other runs that are offered in Montana.  

This is a long established and fun run and dogs are invited too. According to their website: 

The Snow Joke Half Marathon is a distinctive mid-winter half marathon and one of Montana’s oldest footraces. The first official Snow Joke was run on February 23, 1980 with 33 racers. Featured in Runner’s World magazine as one of “America’s Perfect Half Marathons.” Today, Snow Joke draws hundreds of runners from all across Montana and the western United States, who enjoy this popular and scenic race. And you can bring your dog!
