Costco may have a liberal return policy, but there are things that they will not return. According to Costco's website here are some of the items that you can't return.
Electronics over 90 days after purchase
Alcohol
Tires
Airline or Live Performance Event tickets
Gold bullion
Shop Cards or Gift Cards
They also won't return any custom items that you may have purchased. There aren't many stores that will do that. When planning your next Costco shopping trip, you may want keep these things in mind when making your purchases.
