
Missoula ‘Parklets’ Return for 2025 First Fridays—Here’s What to Expect
Downtown Missoula is getting ready to be active again this spring and summer. There are a lot of events that will be taking place downtown. There will be brew fests, live music, and gatherings of all kinds.
The "First Friday" celebrations downtown, when the weather is nice, are fun and funky times and the upcoming plans for this summer looks to be no different.
Missoula in Motion, with the support of the Missoula Parking Commission, is going to be doing something different using some downtown parking spaces. Introducing "Parklets", mini-pop-up parks in parking spaces. They are a reminder that downtown Missoula is a place that continues to support a friendly environment for people biking and walking.

There are going to be four dates for the "Parklets" this year that will coincide with the "First Friday" events.
- Friday, May 2nd
- Friday, June 6th
- Friday, August 1st
- Friday, September 5th
There won't be one held on Friday, July 4th because of the holiday. There have been a lot of changes to downtown Missoula, including the current construction of the Caras Park river access project.

So, next Friday, May 2nd, will be a "First Friday" downtown with the "Parklets". The next day Saturday, May 3rd will be the kickoff to the Farmers Markets too. Downtown Missoula will be very popular that weekend.
