The technology advancements in vehicles and their engines these days are pretty impressive. I, personally, don't own a vehicle that is newer than 12 years old. These days, seeing how other people's vehicles are advancing seems out of this world. Just seeing a vehicle plugged in at a charging station is unusual to me.

A decade ago my son used to play "spot the Tesla" on our roads. He was fascinated with spotting them around Montana. It used to be such a rare site. Now it is much easier to spot a Tesla, or other electric vehicles. It's possible to spot a Tesla Cybertruck or two around the state. Tesla has even been developing a pair of "electric skis", with the ski company J Skis.

Whether you are excited about electric vehicles, or you think they don't work in Montana, they are here and look like they will stay around for a while. If you think electric vehicles aren't for you, how about a hydrogen vehicle? Yamaha has already unveiled hydrogen powered boat motors.

There has been a promise of hydrogen powered vehicles for years. According to a Facebook post from Aussies Eye On Australia, if it is to be believed, there may be hydrogen vehicles on the horizon.

According to the post hydrogen buses are already in use, with most of them being in China. They say they can have a range of 280 miles and can be refilled in 5 seconds and the only emission from these vehicles is water.

It May Be A While Before We See These in Monana

If everything they say is true, it looks like a hydrogen vehicle would have a lot of advantages over both gas and electric vehicles. It remains to be seen how much these vehicles will cost and when they will be mass produced. Until then I will continue to drive my older vehicles and get excited when the just continue to run and the radio works.
