There have been characters over the years in Missoula that would have been amazing to see immortalized on the big screen. Tommy the Leprechaun was a staple in Missoula for years, and his legacy lives on with the documentary about him that’s available on YouTube.
There has been a documentary made about Missoula by artist and filmmaker Andy Smetanka, titled “A Place (Sort Of): The Ultimate Missoula Movie.” The film uses old films shot in Missoula from as far back as the 1920s.
