Costco Food Court Delights

If you need another excuse to make a Costco run, the food court might be giving you one. Sure, people love the bulk deals and the treasure-hunt shopping experience, but for a lot of shoppers, the real highlight is grabbing a cheap meal and checking out the free samples along the way. And lately, Costco has been making some changes to the food court menu that people are starting to notice.

New Seasonal Treat: Strawberry Shortcake Sundae

One of the newest seasonal additions is a strawberry shortcake sundae that is now showing up at some Costco locations, according to Delish.com. The dessert features strawberry ice cream topped with pieces of shortcake, giving shoppers a spring-and summer-inspired treat after loading up on groceries and giant packs of paper towels. It follows Costco’s recent seasonal mint cookie sundae, which was available around March.

Another possible addition that has people talking is chicken fingers. Costco has reportedly been testing chicken tenders at select locations around the country, according to MyNorthwest.com. While they are not available everywhere yet, sightings at some stores have sparked speculation that the item could eventually expand to more locations, including Montana Costco locations.

Keep an Eye Out for New Offerings

So if you are heading to Costco soon, keep an eye out for the new strawberry shortcake dessert, and don’t be surprised if chicken fingers eventually make their way onto the menu too.
