A few months ago, we wrote a story about a graffiti message that had been appearing around Missoula. It was a phenomenon that many Missoulians noticed as the same message appeared in multiple places.

The placement also caught people's attention. One was seen on a utility box, another on a bridge. The one above was on the side of a business.

Opinions were mixed. A reminder that the City of Missoula has a form to report graffiti and the Downtown Business Improvement District has an Anti-Graffiti Task Force.

In the past, graffiti in Missoula has posed a threat to water quality. In a KGVO story from 2023, the City Stormwater Utility shared that, "Crews have already collected more than 20 pounds of paint from the site," referring to the graffiti near the California Street Bridge.

The latest graffiti message I noticed was on the sidewalk near the Hip Strip, and this is the only place where I've seen this graffiti message, though, it may be in other locations and I just don't know about it.

Maybe it's because of what it said, but it reminded me of the chalk messages that used to appear on the Milwaukee Trail or the painted messages on the sidewalk outside Lewis and Clark Elementary School.

Since there were quite a few opinions about the first graffiti message, it made me wonder how people would feel about this one. Below are two polls. The first is about this message specifically. The second is about graffiti in general.
