
Montana’s ‘Unofficial’ Car is A Top Car For 2024
Consumer Reports has released their top 10 best vehicles for 2024. A couple of the vehicles on the list are very popular in Montana. But the most popular vehicle in Montana didn't make the list. With a state as big as Montana having a vehicle to get around is essential. Montana doesn't have a wide variety of public transportation that can take you around the state like in some other places. Because we rely on our vehicles so much, we have a tendency to hold on to our vehicles longer than other states.

Some people in Montana are able to afford new vehicles. When the time comes to purchase a new rig, there may be some research that will go along with making the decision. For some the type of vehicle they need or want may be an easy decision, like a pickup. In Montana the most popular vehicle sold is the Ford F-150 according to JD Power. That particular model didn't make the list of the top 10 best vehicles for 2024. The Ford pickup models that did make the list are the Ford Maverick and the Ford Maverick Hybrid.

There are a few vehicles that are popular in Montana that did make the list. One of them that did make the list could be considered an "unofficial vehicle of Montana". That would be the Subaru Forester. Outside of the Ford F-150, I think Subarus may be the second and third most popular vehicles in Montana. Is there anything they can't do?
