As food truck season picks up, there will be more opportunities for everyone to experience some of the great food being served by Missoula's chefs, cooks and bakers.

Not everyone gets a chance to experience some of the great food trucks Missoula has to offer. We were curious which food trucks people thought deserved to have their own brick-and-mortar location, so we asked.

We asked the wrong question. While there were a few answers giving shout outs to some of their favorites, overall a majority of people don't want to see their favorite food trucks get their own brick-and-mortar location.

They cited a lot of reasons like higher overhead and taxes, but the main reason is that they are aware of how difficult it is for a restaurant to stay in business and they don't want that to happen to their favorite food trucks.

If you want to track your favorite food trucks, their individual social media accounts do a good job of keeping people informed. There is also another way: the Missoula Food Truck Locator.
