Warm up those vocal cords, Montana. American Idol is taking their “Idol Across America” auditions to Big Sky Country on September 22nd, and you don't even have to travel. The stage is in your living room on Zoom, the judges are in place, and you're one hop and two skips away from Hollywood.

How It Works

The setup is simple. You apply for Montana’s official audition day, sign in to Zoom, and sing live for an Idol producer. No endless lines, no waiting in a hotel lobby for hours. Just you, your voice, your Wi-Fi, and maybe your dog watching from the couch. Impress them, and you could be one step closer to performing in front of Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie.

Who Can Audition

Anyone at least 15 years old as of Feb. 15, 2026, can sign up. That means teenagers fresh out of high school, seasoned karaoke singers, and everyone in between. Whether you’re aiming for country ballads, rock, or acoustic originals, this is your chance to put Montana’s sound on the map.
