How To Not Go Stir Crazy During Montana Griz Football ‘Bye’ Week
Let's face it something feels a little bit "off" during a Griz Football bye week. Something is missing. You are lost, you don't have 26,000 "friends" to go hang out with this Saturday. What to do? It is fall in Montana and there is tons to do.
Wash your clothes
Wash that Griz gear. Even the superstitious should wash their gear every once in a while. That "lucky" hoodie or jersey may be getting smelly by now and you have a long way to go before the end of the season. Take the time to get it clean.
Go for a walk
We live in a magnificent place to watch the colors change. The leaves are changing, the smoke is gone it would be a great day to get out and stretch those legs. Not only will you get exercise but you will get reinvigorated for the second half of the season when the Griz need you most.
Golf
Golfing in the fall is the best in Montana. I know I keep repeating myself but honestly, it is great. The courses may be a little more crowded this weekend with the bye week, but golfing will still be great.

Come and show support to the Missoula Firefighters IAFF Local 271. No Griz Football? Eat some pancakes.
Hockey
The Griz have a hockey team now and they are playing this Saturday as Western Washington comes to town. Get your tickets here.
The list goes on and on. Maybe do some archery hunting or get your hunting pack and clean that rifle as you get ready for the general season. Maybe watch the Bobcats take on Idaho State, who the Griz beat last week, and maybe this week you will root for Idaho State! Whatever you decide to do, have fun, recharge those batteries and get ready to cheer on the Griz for the rest of the season!
