Frightening That It’s Here, Halloween Already in Montana
School hasn't started yet in a lot place. Montana is currently experiencing triple digit weather. Labor day hasn't happened. The Griz and the Bobcats haven't even taken the field for a football game yet. If you walk into a grocery store or a chain store these days you would swear that we are a week away from Halloween.
The Forecast for This Fall in Montana May See Early Snow
Preparing for the seasons in Montana is one thing. Pushing the seasons is another. There has been some weather forecasts that have been released on what we may expect this October. Not to spoil it for you, but there is a chance we may see some snow. When you are picking out your Halloween costume this year maybe keep that in mind.
Halloween Is Happening Too Soon in Montana
Seeing Halloween candy for sale in the store when I finished spending time on the river wearing my special "river shirt" and my sandals was surprising. But should I be surprised anymore? For candy manufacturers Halloween is one of their biggest holidays. They are trying to get the most out of the holiday. That is understandable, but for me to buy Halloween candy in Mid-August, is just too early. I normally buy too much candy for the few trick-or-treaters that we get in our neighborhood anyway. Both of the pictures for this story were taken on the same day.

Halloween Is One of My Favorite Holidays
This is by no means a knock on Halloween. It is one of my favorite holidays. To this day I still dress up in costumes for the holiday.
If you have already purchased your Halloween candy for the season, I wish you luck, I hope you have better will power than I do.
