Important Recall In Montana For This Common Food
The U.S. Food & Drug Administration has announced the voluntary recall of a common food item found in Montana. According to their announcement, Gills Onions of Oxnard, California is recalling Gills Onions branded fresh diced because of a health risk that were sold at Chef's Store in Montana.

According to an announcement from the FDA on October 23rd, 2023:
Gills Onions of Oxnard, CA is voluntarily recalling Gills Onions branded fresh diced onions products because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
There could be a possibility that consumers in Montana could have some of these onions in their freezers. The FDA strongly suggests discarding or destroying this product. Do not consume this product.

Montana Has Had Salmonella Cases Before
