Missoula’s fast-food scene is changing. We recently learned Missoula is getting its first Dave’s Hot Chicken., and there have been recent social media posts that they are currently hiring for their North Reserve location.

Another fast-food chain is expanding. If you find it tough to battle North Reserve to eat at Jersey Mike’s sub shop, you will be happy to know they are going to be opening a second location on Missoula’s Southside at 2810 Brooks Street, in the old Cricket Wireless location. It’s in the same building as the UPS Store and the Vape Shop, across from Missoula Nissan and Hyundai dealerships.

New Southside Location Details

The new location hasn’t been updated on Jersey Mike’s official website yet, and Google doesn’t mention a new location, but the signs have gone up at the future location. I went there the other day and I looked inside; not much progress yet. It looks like there is a lot of work to be done on the inside to turn a former cell phone store into a functioning restaurant.

Jersey Mike’s Subs is known for their sub sandwiches, but they are also known for giving back to the community. In March every year, they invite their customers to eat at Jersey Mike’s, and a portion of the proceeds help local charities.
