The National Park Service is kicking off its "National Park Week" with a "fee-free" day at all the parks across the country, including Montana's parks.
Saturday, April 19 will be one of the "fee-free" days the National Park Service will offer in 2025.

"National Park Week" runs from April 19 through April 27 celebrating the country's national parks. There are over 400 national parks in the U.S., and it's your chance to discover what the Park Service does to preserve our parks and their history.
Glacier National Park will be experiencing construction this summer.

National Park Week's theme this year is "National Park Playlist". They are encouraging everyone to create a playlist of music inspired by a park, your memories of a park or a road trip. You can learn more about music in the parks here.

Yellowstone National Park entrances will be opening right before the "fee-free" day. According to a press release:
- North Entrance (Gardiner, Montana)
- West Entrance (West Yellowstone, Montana)
- Mammoth Hot Springs
- Lamar Valley
- Norris Geyser Basin
- Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone
- Old Faithful
- Silver Gate and Cooke City, Montana
This is your chance to explore parts of Montana before tourist season gets into full-swing and save some money while you are at it.
