What the...heck.

I had to laugh this morning when we played our weekly game "Chris and Ashley Go to the Cinema." I brought in 'guest star' Ace Sauerwein because Chris was out of the office and Ace does an excellent impression of Cameron from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" when he's impersonating Mr. Peterson on a phone call with the school principal.

There was just one problem with the scene we acted out: It includes profanity.

We leaned into though, and Ace said, "Pardon my French, but you're a jerk" with all the gusto of a professional actor. Of course, we can't swear on the radio. But swearing seems to be everywhere these days.

The Wordtips blog looked at the countries that swear the most (spoiler alert: America wins) but then drilled down to the states and cities that swear the most, too.

The good news is that according to this study Montana, in general, isn't known for swearing. But according to their methodology, they determined who swears the most by looking at geo-tagged tweets.

Not a very reliable data source for Montanans in this Montanan's opinion. I think we're more prone to profanity when it's offline. For what it's worth, the writer who covered this for the New York Post thought the results of this study were bull!&$*.

Even so, they were able to break down the results to see which Montana city was the most profane, and at least anecdotally, they might not be wrong.

I asked my co-workers to guess which Montana city swears the most and one person guessed correctly without hesitating, saying he knows someone from this city who says people there swear all the time.

Congratulations, the honor of the most profane Montana city goes to Great Falls. Great ducking job.
