Take a Look at Missoula’s Most Entertaining Street Names
Like many things in Missoula, Missoula has some goofy, fun, and weird street names.
I'm a landmark driver. Tell me what it's close to and I'll get there. But when I do have to look up an address, I often get a chuckle out of the streets you'll find in Missoula. They can be broken up into a few different categories, or themes.
Animal Name Streets in Missoula
It wouldn't be a town in Montana if it didn't have a Bear Drive, or a Bluebird Drive, or a Deer Canyon Court. But I think the street names for animals you'd never see in Missoula, like Flamingo Drive, are more impressive.
Pop Culture Street Names in Missoula
The Harry Potter neighborhood is well-known and includes familiar names from the franchise, but Missoula also has streets with references to Superman, The Andy Griffith Show, and the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Funny Streets in Missoula
Montanans love a good pun, and street names are the perfect opportunity for a subtle chuckle. I've heard that one of Missoula's most famous streets, Easy Street, has had the sign stolen so many times that "deterrents" were added to the sign. What adds to the joke is that there are two Easy Streets in Missoula! North Easy Street and South Easy Street.
First Name Streets in Missoula
How would you like to live on Jennifer Place or Jeff Drive? There's even a Jack, Jackie, and Jackson streets in Missoula (well, two are Drives and one is a Place). I think my favorite is Jim Loop. First-name streets get even more personal--you could live on Uncle Robert Lane.
