Missoula Beers In the Spotlight Winning Medals From MT Brewers Association

While Missoulians were enjoying the Winter Brewfest in Caras Park over the weekend, The Montana Brewers Association were judging beers from all across the state. Montana has some incredible breweries that are making some mighty fine beers and the results are some great examples of that. There are small breweries, large breweries, and community breweries that were all represented with awards.

Congratulations goes out to the medal winning beers and brewers from Missoula that represented some of the best of the best from Montana.

Gold Medal Winners: 

• Bayern Brewing- Eisbock, Strong Lager category
• Bayern Brewing- St. Walter Hefeweizen, Wheat Ales category
• KettleHouse Brewery- Shady New England IPA, Hazy Pale Ales category

Silver Medal Winners: 

• Imagine Nation Brewing Co.- ERAS, North American Light Lagers category
• Cranky Sam Brewing- Noble Pilsner, European Light Lagers category
• KettleHouse Brewery- Muley Buck IPA, India Pale Ales, category
• Highlander Beer- Tangerine Squeezer, Fruit, Vegetable and Spiced Beer category

Bronze Medal Winners:

Montana Had Some Great Beers from Small Breweries

Looking over the list of the winners it is great to see such a vibrant list of breweries from across the state. Seeing smaller towns like Phillipsburg, Columbia Falls, Livingston, Stevensville, Three Forks, Ronan, Ennis, and Frenchtown winning awards for brewing is something special, and something they should all be proud of.
