This Pool Hall, Sushi Spot, and Dive Bar Might Be Missoula’s Best-Kept Secrets
You can feel tourist season starting to pick up in Montana. Really there are very few times of the year when it isn't tourist season anymore. When you get people from out of town or out of state that come and visit, there is always the question of what to do and where to take them.
Missoula has a lot to offer for people who are visiting. We recently had a conversation about what we would do if we only had one day to spend in Missoula. All of us had a different take on how we would spend that one day.

If you have visitors coming to town this season there are few places that you may want to consider when you are looking for things to do. They could be considered some of the "hidden gems" of Missoula.
Charlie B's: "Charlie's" is a slice of Missoula. There is no sign outside advertising it as a bar, it's located at 428 N. Higgins Avenue (On the Corner of Space and Time). Once you walk in you'll notice the pictures on the walls that are a trip through Missoula's past. In the back you can get some Cajun food from the Dinosaur Cafe and enjoy an adult beverage. When going to Charlie B's, remember to take cash because they don't accept credit or debit cards.

Sushi Palace: Located in the Southgate Mall, you wouldn't think it would be a "hidden gem", but this little store makes some great sushi and they also make some really tasty ramen. They serve a classic Tonkotsu Ramen or you can get it spicy. They also have a big selection of sushi. If you are getting the sushi, rarely do you have to wait.
Three in the Side: Trying to find a pool table in town can be a challenge. Not many bars have them anymore, or if they do they only have one. If you are looking for a relaxed place to shoot some pool and have a drink, then this is the place for you. Located at 147 W. Broadway, below the Golden Rose Casino you will find Missoula's only pool hall.
Now you have a few more places to take someone when they come to Missoula to visit that may not be on the beaten path.
