There have been some lists that we have come upon lately that are making some pretty bold statements about Montana and its food. There have been proclamations about where to find the best ribs in Montana and which restaurant is the best.

Now we have another bold statement being made about Montana's cooking, where to find the best fast food. We aren't talking about chains either.

When it comes to my bucket list of places I want to eat in Montana, there are only a few that I haven't been able to try. That's what happens when you have children in travel sports in our great state. You get a chance to try some great food across our state.

Montana's Best Bucket List Fast Food Joint is in Missoula

LoveFood took on the monumental task of trying to figure out the best bucket list fast food spots in every state. Not only that, they ranked them as well. Montana is represented by a pizza spot in Missoula and this isn't the first time this restaurant has gotten some national attention.

Making the top ten coming in at number eight on the list is Biga Pizza. Not only is it the only Montana place making the list, it has also been featured on the Food Network's "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" featuring Guy Fieri.

Biga Pizza owner Bob Marshall has also competed on the Food Network's Guy Fieri's "Guy's Grocery Games". If you are looking for a traditional pie, then Biga is a good choice. If you are looking for a pizza that is as Montana as it gets you should try the Flathead Cherry Pizza when they have it in season. I personally am not a fruit eater; I found it fantastic.

Living in Missoula does have it's perks. I have been able to eat at not only the place that has the best ribs in the state, but also the best bucket list restaurant too. Now I'm off to find more tasty places across the state to try.
