According to Tasting Table, two Montana restaurants have been named among the best in the United States for their incredible mountain views, and honestly, it’s not hard to see why.

One of the spots earning recognition is The Grill at Sage Lodge. The Sage Lodge, itself, has been awarded three Michelin keys. The restaurant offers a picture-perfect Montana setting. Guests can enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding mountains while taking in a classic Big Sky sunset. 

Also making the list is The Landing Restaurant in Big Sky, at the One&Only Moonlight Basin Resort, which is accessible by car or gondola. The resort has also just landed on the list of top destinations from Time Magazine for 2026.

While it’s great to see Montana represented by its beautiful views, many locals would argue that this list could be much longer. From lakeside patios to riverside decks and tucked-away mountain lodges, there’s no shortage of places across the state where the view steals the spotlight. But we may not want the world to know about all that Montana has to offer.
