Big Sky Country Welcomes Michelle Pfeiffer For New TV Role
We now have more information on the spin-off of the Yellowstone TV series. It has been announced that, Oscar nominated actress, Michelle Pfeiffer has signed on for the show. She made the announcement on her social media.
This new series was initially was called "2024". The show will be called "Madison". According to US Weekly, the story will be "a heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana”. The production for the show is scheduled to begin later this month. Filming is reportedly to take place in Texas, New York, and Montana. Kurt Russell is also in talks to be a part of this new series.
Yellowstone is Filming the Final Season
Yellowstone is currently filming the final half of the fifth, and reportedly, final season in Western Montana which is scheduled to start airing on Paramount and Paramount+ on November 10th. There has been filming in the Bitterroot Valley and around Missoula.
Will "Madison" Film in Bozeman?
The setting for "Madison" is going to be in the "Madison River Valley in central Montana". Bozeman and Belgrade are located near this area. The exact location and time hasn't been released yet. If it is similar to "Yellowstone", they can film in different locations around the state, but say it is located in the Madison River Valley.
Speaking of the Bozeman area, there was the viral story about an influencer who moved to Bozeman from NYC and was having difficulty finding Montana men to date. Another story about the area, showed up in the British tabloid, the Daily Mail about how Bozeman has become a celebrity playground.

The show "Yellowstone" has had conflicts between the locals and out-of-staters as part of the storyline. With this new series being partially set in Bozeman, and the main character coming from NYC, will Tyler Sheridan's stories reflect the real life changes that the area has seen over the past few years? We will all have to tune in to find out.
