Whimsical, Historical Cottage in Butte Montana is the Airbnb You Have to See

I feel like I've stumbled on one of the coolest houses in Montana.

My version of digital day-dreaming is going on Airbnb and looking for places I could stay around Montana, somewhere that I wouldn't have to travel far and also has a cool house or cabin. It's day-dreaming, so I usually don't look at the price tag.

But I just found a reasonably priced cottage in Butte that would be an awesome place to stay. It's called 'Sky Bandana.'

The first indicator: the guest rating. 4.89 stars on Airbnb and it's considered a 'guest favorite.'

The second indicator: size and location. The listing says it can host six guests and it's located on the ridge and is within walking distance to some of the best parts of Butte.

I'm sold: you have to see the pictures.

The attention to detail in this cottage is fantastic. It's like Alice from Alice in Wonderland grew up and moved to Butte, Montana. The owner Stewart says, "I have a background in design, fabrication, and art. I modernized this house with very special consideration for Butte's opulent roaring days of industry and the various styles that came along with it."

And the joyful colors, it's no wonder guests love this house.

The owner also says the property is designed with elements in mind and there's a room for earth, water, fire, air, and spirit.

"Really cool vibe, just very lived in," a reviewer named Maverick writes.
