It looks like Montana may be a future home of a Twin Peaks restaurant chain location. According to Restaurant News, the franchise has announced four new "franchise development agreements" which aims to add an additional 24 new locations, one of those being in Billings, Montana.
Twin Peaks is described as the "ultimate sports lodge" with wilderness lodge themes, and it's slogan is "Eats, Drinks, Scenic Views" . Most of their locations are located in Texas, but our neighbors have locations in Boise, Idaho, and Fargo, North Dakota. The Billings location would be the first location in Montana. I haven't been to a Twin Peaks before, since Montana at the time doesn't have a location. The menu is described as "made-from-scratch food and the coldest beer in the business". They have burgers, wings, sandwiches, flatbreads, tacos, and more.
The development agreement is also looking to add more locations in North Dakota and South Dakota. It may take some time before the Twin Peaks opens its doors in Billings, it is in the development stages as of January 13. There is also a lot that can happen between now and an opening.
This news marks a possible change that may be coming for Montana's dining options. It also shows that Montana is continuing to appeal to franchises that are looking at expanding into territories where they haven't been yet. While the exact timeline for its opening in Billings isn't known, anticipation will likely build as plans progress.
