New Business ‘Stretch Lab’ Coming Soon to North Reserve in Missoula
I was on North Reserve today because I wanted to visit the new Hokkaido Ramen House. Unfortunately, it's closed on Tuesdays, but you can read more about the restaurant and its schedule here.
While I was there, several other people showed up and also discovered the Ramen House was closed on Tuesdays and left. As one car was pulling away, I happened to look at the other vacant business. Hokkaido is located in what used to be Firehouse Subs, and next to Firehouse Subs was Brooklyn Bagel. For a while, we've been wondering what was going to move in to the Brooklyn Bagel location, and when I was there today, there were graphics on the windows announcing the new business.
Have you ever heard of Stretch Labs?
The store is a new concept to me, but what they do, I’m familiar with.
I was a dancer for 13 years and then a fitness instructor for another 13 years. I've had to see a lot of physical therapists. I've also seen massage therapists and yoga therapists, and one aspect of all of these things shared was partner stretching.
We didn't do it all the time, but when we were dancers we used to partner stretch because it led to greater flexibility. I have also had physical therapists who have guided me in stretches to help heal my injuries, and certain styles of yoga therapy involve having the yoga therapist guide your body into yoga poses that provide a good stretch.
Stretch Lab is a business that follows the same idea. You pay for sessions and their Flexologists® will help stretch your body. If this sounds interesting, they have an early member rate signup.
No specific opening date was given. The website just says, “Coming soon.” They do have locations in Bozeman and Billing and reviewers say it’s a great way to stay limber with an average Google Rating of 4.7 stars in Bozeman and 5.0 stars in Billings.
