Montana Sports Betting’s Gearing Up For Next Big Gambling Event

The Montana Lottery has just had their busiest day of the year with the sale of the Montana Millionaire tickets. 500,000 tickets were sold this year in less than three hours time.

Sports betting in Montana continues to increase. Schulz gave some of the numbers from 2023-2024. Their fiscal years begins in July, so the number are from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024.

• Total number of bets over the year is up 35%
• 90% of bets are placed on terminals, while 10% are placed on the app. To use the Sports Bet Montana app, bettors must be in close proximity to a betting terminal, as Montana state gaming laws do not allow betting from just anywhere in the state. This could only change if the Montana legislature amends these laws.

The countdown is on for the upcoming "Brawl of the Wild" and it looks like it is going to be another pivotal matchup between the Cats and Griz, in Bozeman on Saturday November 23rd. Not only will there be a lot of action on the field, there will also be a lot of betting action for that game.
