Montana Brewer Is One of the Highest Producers in the Country

There has been a lot to report about beer in Montana these days. "Brew Fest Season" is kicking off. Over the next few months you may be able to find at least one, somewhere in Montana, every weekend until the fall.

Montana's Beer is Being Recognized

There have been some phenomenal Montana beers that have been recognized recently on a national stage at the "World Beer Cup".

Some of the award winning beers are craft beers and Montana has some pretty amazing craft breweries. According to Vinepair.com, 2023 saw "9,683 operational craft breweries" across America. Which is an all time high. That includes, tap rooms, microbreweries, brewpubs, and regional craft breweries. They noted that even though craft beer production showed a one percent decline in 2023, craft beer's market share has increased to 13.3%, in terms of volume.

One Montana Craft Beer Made the Top 50 List

According to the report Montana has one of the "top producing craft breweries" in the country. They ranked the "50 Top Craft Breweries of 2023", only one brewery from Montana made the list. The Montucky Cold Snacks brewery from Bozeman, came in at number 40.

Montucky Cold Snacks was founded in 2012 by Chad Zeitner and Jeremy Gregory, who "wanted to create a business that they were passionate about." Beer seemed to be the answer to their passion, and they seem to be doing well with their brand of beer and swag.
