Montana’s COVID-19 CDC Forecast: Infections ‘Likely Growing’
The 4th of July weekend is approaching and travel is expected to boom. AAA predicts over 70 million Americans will be traveling sometime during the holiday week, potentially surpassing pre-pandemic travel records. Families will be getting together around grills and celebrating our independence. While this surge in travel can be exciting for some, it's also crucial to stay informed about COVID-19 trends, especially for those venturing westward.
CDC Covid Forecast for Montana
As of June 18th, 2024, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) forecasts rising COVID-19 infection rates in 39 states. This includes Montana, which falls under the "likely growing" category. Unfortunately, there are currently no states categorized as "declining or likely declining." Our neighboring states, Idaho, Wyoming, and South Dakota, share Montana's "likely growing" status, while North Dakota remains "stable or uncertain."
