Montana's Costco Stores are very popular. They are a great resource to stock up on supplies, especially with our rural areas. There have been many changes over the year been a lot of news about the stores over the past year, with a lot of changes. They have a new CEO, raised membership prices, and have changed the packaging for their rotisserie chicken. Those are just a few of the changes they have announced. They have also started selling items you wouldn't normally see in a grocery store, like gold.

Costco has announced that they are expanding their precious metal selections past selling gold. You can now purchase a 1 oz. bar of Platinum from Costco, according to CNBC, they will cost $1,089.99. They have some rules if you are considering purchasing one of the bars. You need to be a Costco member, and there is a limit of 5 per member. If you are planning on purchasing one of these bars, they do not accept returns. Even with their liberal return policy you can now add Platinum bars to the list of items that Costco will not return. There are a lot of things that I have considered buying at my local Costco. Up until now I didn't think purchasing precious metals were an option. With the holidays coming up, I can now add a Platinum bar to my my "wish list".
