It Looks Like Another Missoula Restaurant Closes Their Doors
The Missoula restaurant scene has experienced some highs and lows in 2024. One of the big highlights of the past year was when Guy Fieri brought his "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" show to town.
Some of Missoula's favorite eateries enjoyed some time in the national spotlight. The Tandem Bakery & Café, Biga Pizza, Mexican Moose, and Wally and Buck were some of the places featured on the show in 2024.

Not all of the news about restaurants has been positive. There have been some restaurants that have announced they will be closing their doors. Such as the Acropolis.

Another eatery has now closed in Missoula. Mod Pizza, which was located on North Reserve, has closed their doors. The signs on the outside of the building have been removed and the sign on the door reads "'Closed Forever'".
I ate at Mod Pizza often, I liked it. I know some of the employees that have worked at Mod over the years, it is a bummer that the employees will no longer have a job there. There are plenty of really good local pizza choices in Missoula, and the competition has got to be tough for pizza restaurants in town.
It's not always easy seeing restaurants, or any business closing it's doors for good.
With another year starting I am sure we will see new restaurants and businesses open their doors in Missoula. Sadly we will also probably see other close their doors for good.
