When we found out the Acropolis Gyro shop was for sale back in July of 2024 we had hopes that the current owners would be able to find someone who was willing to take over the business and continue the decades-long operation. It doesn't look like that will be the case in 2025.

According to a recent Facebook post from the store, they have been trying to find a person that would be a good fit for taking over the business. However, their search has been unsuccessful at this point.

The business is currently listed on the Exit Realty website and has seen a price reductions since when it was listed for back in July. It is a turn-key restaurant and it includes all recipes, and equipment. The sale does not include any real property, just the business. Unless the Acropolis can find someone who would be a good fit to take it over, according to their post, it looks like the business will be coming to an end this January.

It is tough to see businesses that have been a part of the Missoula community for decades permanently close. There is still a chance that the business can continue if the right person steps in and wants to make an investment and keep the restaurant going. There is also the chance that someone may come in and make it something totally different. Either way, thanks to the families that have kept the Acropolis going over the years and we wish you all nothing but the best in the future.
