Summertime in Missoula is filled with activities. It seems like every day there is something new that we can add to our calendar of events. June is a month that is packed with things to do. Now you can add another event and it is a very cool "Thank You" to Missoula from the Glacier Ice Rink for all of the support over the years.

"Missoula Palooza" is Coming this Weekend

This Saturday June 10th, from 5p-9p, is "Missoula Palooza" at the Glacier Ice Rink a big part to say "Thanks". The ice has been taken out for the seasonal repairs, which I always think is kind of a bummer that the season is done. If you feel the same way this may be something that will cheer you up. It is a great time for them to throw an event in the outdoor rink.

"Missoula Palooza" is for the Entire Family

According to the Glacier Ice Rink's website, "Missoula Palooza" is a free event. There will be live music from "Milltown Damn" and "Mudslide Charlie". Food and drink will be available for purchase from River City Eats, Big Dipper Ice Cream and eMpanadas. Drinks will be provided by Conflux Brewing, Blacksmith Brewing, Bitter Root Brewing, Big Sky Brewing, and Kettlehouse Brewing. There will be non-alcoholic drinks available too. This event is for the entire family.

Not Just Music, Activities Too

On top of the live music, there will be activities for the family. There will be corn hole games, street curling provided by the Missoula Curling Club and a dunk tank. The dunk tank will require a small fee to participate.

Missoula's Glacier Ice Rink Continues to Give Back

Missoula's Glacier Ice Rink has been serving the community for 25 years and they are continuing to give. The least we could do to thank them for being a part of the community for two and half decades would be go to a party and have a good time.
