The Missoula Paddleheads are on a tear this year. They have been dominating over not only their division but the entire league this year. It has been really fun to watch them play at such a high level. If you have a chance to get out and see them play, I highly recommend it.

Congratulations Mark Timmins of the Missoula Paddleheads

Across the league the scouts are taking a look at what is happening with the Paddleheads. Congratulations are in order for Paddleheads pitcher Mark Timmins he has just been signed to the big leagues by the Los Angeles Angels. Mark has been putting up some impressive numbers so far this year. He has a 1.47 ERA (earned run average) and a 0.99 WHIP (walks and hits per inning pitched).

Throwing Out the First Pitch in Missoula

The Paddleheads are not only a great team but the games are so much fun. We had the honor of throwing out the first pitch at one of the early games of the season. We were lucky to be invited to "Star Wars" night, that not only included a win by the Paddleheads, but it also wrapped up the day with a great fireworks display.

Fireworks, Fly-Fishing and More Coming

If you haven't been to a game yet this year, there is still a lot planned for the season. There are going to be firework displays, depending on the weather. There is still a brew fest planned, a fly fishing night, a "Wizards and Wands" night, a tie dye night, "Indigenous People's" night, and so much more.

Still a lot of Baseball This Season in Missoula

There is still a lot of baseball left to be had this season, so make your plans to get out and see the Paddleheads. Try to get to the ballpark early and meet the players, you never know when they will be called up to the majors and you can tell your friends and family about seeing them play in Missoula.

If you want to know what the park is like, well, it may depend on whether you see the glass as half empty or half full.
