Radon testing has become a standard part of home inspections if you are selling or buying a home. If you have been in your home for any amount of time you should consider getting your home tested. There are a couple options for getting testing kits for your home. You can visit Montana's Official Website for information or call the Radon Control phone number 1-800-546-0483 and ask about getting a free testing kit.
You Can Get Testing Kits In Missoula
The Missoula City-County Health Department offers home radon testing kits for $10. If you want to get more information or get a test kit you can go to the Environmental Health office at 301 W. Alder Street on the second floor. When you test your homes for radon, you need to keep the windows closed for a few days. This would be a good time to get your home tested before the weather gets warmer and we will all want to open our windows.
