Missoula Grocery Stores and Markets with Impressive Local Drink Selections
In Missoula, we're lucky to have local brands that can be enjoyed when we're out or when we feel like staying in.
I remember the first time I saw Big Dipper Ice Cream in a grocery store. I couldn't believe I was seeing the ice cream I ate with my friends on warm summer nights after City Band concerts sitting on a shelf right next to the Breyers. Now, more and more of my favorite Missoula brands are available at local stores, especially beverages.
Missoula has excellent beer, wine, tea, coffee, kombucha, milk--you name it--all made locally and available at local grocery stores and markets. If you're looking for your favorite Missoula brands, here are the stores and markets that have great selections.
Orange Street Food Farm
Orange Street Food Farm's beer and wine selection is extensive but they also carry locally made oat milk from Cool Earthy Creamery.

Pattee Creek Market
Pattee Creek Market's wine selection pairs nicely with its diverse cheeses and meats. If you like to make charcuterie boards, this is the place to stock up. The store is also under new ownership as of fall, 2023.

Grizzly Grocery
Grizzly Grocery has local options if you're looking to fill a keg. You can pick from Missoula breweries like Bayern, Missoula Brewing Co, Big Sky and Kettle House, and Montana brands like Lewis & Clark, Glacier, Bitter Root Brewing, and Great Northern Brewing Company.

Worden's Market
Worden's can also fill your keg but they proudly state that they have "...beer from EVERY local brewery in Missoula..." and other breweries from around Montana. Mark the "resident authority" has been with Worden's for 28 years and if there are too many beers to choose from, I'm sure he'd help you out.

Good Food Store
In addition to Missoula and Montana alcohol brands like Imagine Nation Brewing or Red Lodge Ales, Good Food Store carries local Kombucha from Back to the Mother, Drum Coffee, Clyde Coffee and Black Coffee Roasting Co, and tea from Lake Missoula and Liquid Planet. There are so many local brands they carry--if you want a complete list of every local brand at the Good Food Store you can see them right here.
