The countdown is on for the sold out Pearl Jam concert at Washington Grizzly Stadium on Thursday August 22nd. This last weekend was the release party of the latest brew from the Kettlehouse Brewing Company and Jeff Ament for the MPS Pilsner which will help to raise funds for Jeff's non-profit, Montana Pool Service.

There have been recent reports of Pearl Jam having to cancel shows on the European leg of their Dark Matter tour due to illness in the band. We are hoping that they get healed up and are ready to go by the time the Missoula show rolls around.

Jeff Ament's Army Is Throwing a Party

When Pearl Jam plays Missoula it feels like it is more than just a concert coming to town. There have been events, fundraisers, and parties in the past when they have played Western Montana. Another event has been announced right before the big show. Jeff Ament's Army, a division of the Montana Skatepark Association, is hosting the "Big Sky Jam 2" at Locals Only at 149 W. Broadway on the night of August 21st. This will be an all ages fundraising event with no cover charge. They will be raising money for the Montana Skatepark Association and Girls on Shred, for more information you can check out their Instagram account here.

Missoula's Stop Will be in One of the Smallest Cities

The Missoula stop, on the Dark Matter Tour,  is going to be one of the smallest places Pearl Jam will be playing on their tour, just like in past years.
