Now Montana is contributing more to Hollywood magic than just offering up a beautiful place to film. We are also creating props for giant blockbuster movies.
Missoula company, Zombie Tools, has been in the blade-making industry for years. They make swords, knives, and axes for customers all over the world.
According to the Zombie Tools website
In 2007, three young, emerging, and aspiring blade makers set out upon the “zombie apocalypse” mythos. Not wanting to conform, they took an idiomatic approach to designing and building weapons for “worst case scenarios”. Since inception, our crew has grown to 11 makers and artists working full time, making battle-ready weapons in Missoula, Montana. We’ve put blades in the hands of legions of people all over the world.
Zombie Tools recently announced that they are a part of the latest blockbuster action movie in theaters. An action movie that stars some of the biggest action stars in Hollywood. Stars like Jason Statham, Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, and Megan Fox.
Zombie Tools created a special axe just for the movie. An axe known as the "Traumahawk." You can see action superstar Dolph Lungren holding it in the movie poster for the film. Pay close attention and you can see the "ZT" logo.
