Yes, inflation has even come for our Halloween candy. 😔

According to couponfollow.com candy prices for some brands have gone up. They say that the most expensive candy is 3 Musketeers and the cost of Milky Way bards went up 97%.

If you're wondering where the best deals on candy are around Missoula, we did some research for you. What we found: for the most part, you'll pay about the same price at most places. It will be more about how much candy you need and how much variety you want.

Tip: Make sure to check the number of candies in the bag. Then you can compare the total price to the price per candy. You might find that paying a little more will get you more.

Here's an idea of what bags of Halloween candy will cost you at some of Missoula's grocery stores.

Albertson's

Packages of candy range in price from $9.99 to $29.99. and prices in between.

Orange Street Food Farm

You'll want to check the store because at least right now, the website isn't listing any big bags of Halloween candy for sale, however; they do have Hershey's miniatures for $6.99, a good option if you don't get a ton of trick-or-treaters where you live.

Pattee Creek Market

Pattee Creek Market's weekly ad features 2/$2 candy bars and 2/$6 Tootsie Pops and Tootsie Rolls.

Rosauers

Your best bet is to visit the store for Rosauers. It looks like their candy sale was last weekend, but you may be able to find some candy in the store.

Target

Of course, you'll find a lot of variety, and specificity. If you want just Nerds or Kit Kats for example, you can get them. Prices range from $4.79 to $21.19--but those are sales prices, so they might be slightly higher depending on if you buy online or in the store.

Yoke's Fresh Market

The weekly ad available online says they have bags of candy for $19.99 but you may find more options in the store.

Walmart

Similar to Target, you'll see a wide variety of options. We saw fun-size Snickers for $3.96 and bags of 275 pieces of candy for $24.92.

WinCo Foods

They didn't have Halloween candy listed online but we're almost certain you'll be able to find bulk candy at WinCo because they usually have it year-round.

If you're less worried about price and you want to make sure you're picking the candy that trick-or-treaters will like best, these are the candy brands you'll want to look for.
