Missoula's Big Dipper Has a New Secret Menu Item

It may be a bit colder out, but it's still ice cream season and the Big Dipper just announced something super fun.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice came out on September 6 and has been doing well at the box office, with a 7.1/10 on IMDB, a 78% Rotten Tomatoes score, and $145.4 million in global ticket sales according to Variety. If you haven't seen it yet, it's playing at The Roxy, AMC Southgate, and AMC Classic.

Big Dipper posted on social media a few days ago that they have a new secret menu item inspired by the movie. They're calling it the "Beetlejuice Sundae Beetlejuice Sundae."

I love their Green Tea ice cream and the marshmallow topping sounds tasty. I'm not a big fan of Black Licorice, but with those other flavors, I bet it tastes really good.

The big question on my mind (and somebody else's apparently): would this treat only be available while the movie is in theaters? Only during spooky season?

When Joni asked "How long will this be available?" on Facebook, Big Dipper replied, "It's made with items on our secret menu, so we can make it all the time for you!"

I'm not big on "secret menus" but I did stumble onto Big Dipper's when I asked for their Green Tea ice cream once. It's one of my go-to flavors and I didn't see it on their menu. When it was my turn at the window I asked if they still had it and the ice cream scooper said, "Oh yeah, it must just be on our secret menu."

I said I didn't realize they had a secret menu and he told me about some of their creative concoctions. I can't remember the exact details, but I think one was called "The Unicorn" and had bubblegum ice cream.
