A Missoula Collaboration That Celebrates Beer and Filmmakers
The Big Sky Documentary Film Festival in Missoula is coming February 17th through the 26th with a full slate of amazing documentaries from around the world. Tickets for the event are on sale now. This year the film festival will be celebrating it’s 20th anniversary.
Missoula Kettlehouse Brewing Company Unveils Limited New Beer
For the 20th Anniversary of the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, they have teamed with Kettlehouse Brewing to create a limited edition “20th Anniversary Big Sky Documentary Film Fest IPA” that is available locally in stores.
Big Sky Film Institute
The festival will again this year feature some local high school students who are taking part in the Big Sky Film Institute fellowship program. This is an exciting opportunity for young filmmakers to present their work to a large audience and learn filmmaking in the process.
Big Sky Documentary Official Selections Are Out
The official selections for the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival have been chosen. There are lots of films and subjects to choose from. There are over 145 documentaries to view at the festival this year. There just might be something for everyone at the festival. The films vary in topics and in length. Some films are as short as five minutes and some are as long as a feature film. With over 145 documentaries to choose from, they vary in topics from horses, and cowgirls to artists, athletes, and much more.
