This Montana Castle in Great Falls Will Make Your Jaw Drop and Your Eyes Pop
It shouldn't be surprising that Zillow, the wildly popular real estate website that spawned this gem, has its own TV show now.
If you're like me, and you're late to the game. Here's a brief rundown of what the show is:
- It's on HGTV (obviously)
- It's hosted by Jack McBrayer, who you probably remember from 30 Rock, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby or Wreck-It Ralph
- The homes are "some of America's wackiest and wildest"
- The first episode was back in May
- It was inspired by a social media account run by Samir Mezrahi
So you're not that far behind if you haven't seen the show yet.
You might be a little behind if you haven't been following the social media pages, and you can sign up for a newsletter too. You'll see things like "the most American house", houses with enviable libraries, a house listing that claims it has 86 bathrooms (even though it's only 1,396 square feet) and oh so many impressive staircases.
On July 19 the Zillow Gone Wild Facebook page shared a listing in Montana as part of #zgwcastlefridays.
Listed by Callie Pecunies - Real Estate Broker and Crystal Ault - Western Montana Real Estate Broker, this Great Falls castle is listed for $3,500,000, coming down from $4,250,000.
Let's talk about what makes this property totally awesome.
- It's right on the river, which is almost like having a real castle moat.
- The turret, (and it's a reading room)
- The wine cellar
- The sauna
- The airplane hangar
- The boathouse
- The patio with the stone archway
- All the archways
- The gargoyles
Isn't it gorgeous? Fascinating?
