Win Griz Tickets for the Season Opener

Your University of Montana Griz Football team kicks off it's season this weekend as we welcome the Northwestern State Demons to Washington Grizzly stadium with a kick off time of 1pm. There is a lot of excitement around the University of Montana Grizzlies and head coach Bobby Hauck this year with pre-season ranking of 2nd in the nation. We are going to giving away tickets all season long for every Griz home game. This weekend's forecast is calling for hot weather, this may be one of the hottest Griz football games on record. This weekend is the "Maroon Out" game so wear as much maroon as you can, that includes the face paint.

If you are planning on tailgating at the Griz game keep in mind the weather, and make sure you enjoy yourselves responsibly and of course make sure to keep yourselves hydrated. You may also want to bring the sunscreen for the game especially for everyone in the North End Zone.

Northwestern State hailing from Louisiana and the Southland Conference had a record of 3-8 last season. Being located in Louisiana the Demons should be used to the heat, but here in Montana we have a dry heat so hopefully that will work to the Griz advantage.
