With his latest 2nd round TKO victory against Aljamain Sterling, Sean has improved to 17 wins 1 loss and zero draws. With the victory it solidifies Sean O'Malley as the UFC Bantamweight Champion.
Sugar Sean O'Malley Credits Montana For His Success
Being from Montana has helped Sugar Sean O'Malley's success, initially he wanted to be in the NFL. According to his press conference when he was asked how much Montana played in his success he said:
Yeah, I think being from Montana was a huge role.. I was knockin' people out at an early age of 16, 17, 18, I was all about Montana fighting. There was times I fought three times in a month.

According to ESPN MMA Sean is the youngest champion in the UFC and already tied for second in knockouts in the division's history. He has also for the first time made ESPN top 10 lest of "Men's Pound For Pound" coming in at number 9.

Sugar Sean O'Malley says a rematch between him and Marlon Vera would be a big pay-per-view draw according to BJpenn.com. Sean O'Malley and Marlon Vera fought in UFC 252 back in 2020. Marlon Vera won that fight with a first round TKO.
