Montana’s Top ‘Bucket List’ Restaurant Is Hiding in This Foodie Town

Montana's food scene continues to evolve. We are lucky to have some pretty amazing restaurants in our state. Many of them are getting national recognition and accolades.

If there is a positive we can take from our recent growth, it would be that the quality and diversity of our food choices have grown with it.

Rating the different food choices is left to people with a much finer palate than mine. Compared to other people, I would be considered a picky eater. I don't think I will be becoming a "foodie" any time soon.

There are some restaurants that I really appreciate in Montana. One of them has been ranked as the best BBQ ribs in Montana, and according to one publication they are the best restaurant in the state.

When Love Food takes on the task of finding the best type of food in every state, I applaud their effort. When they rank that food, it takes it to another level.

It's not enough for them to just list the best "Bucket List" restaurants in every state; they also ranked them.

There is one Montana restaurant that has made the list, and it also happens to be in the town that has been dubbed the best "Foodie Town" in Montana.

The Tupelo Grille in Whitefish, Montana, is the best "Bucket List" restaurant in Montana and is ranked at number 42 on the list. Keep in mind that the Love Food list is bigger than just 50 restaurants. Some states have multiple entries on the list.

The Tupelo Grille opened in 1995. They have a bit of a southern flair on their menu with Cornmeal Alabama Catfish, Low Country Shrimp and Grits, and Fried Green Tomatoes.

The food looks fantastic and I can see why it has made Love Food's list. Now I have to add it to my bucket list the next time I go to Whitefish.
