Trying to save money is on a lot of people's minds these days, whether it's the cost of housing, groceries, or gas things are more expensive. Finding bargains or ways to save a buck or two can help out most people.

When it comes to the price of groceries, there has been a significant increase in cost. It wasn't too long ago that we were seeing the price of eggs at an all time record high. There has been some good news; egg prices have dropped and in Montana we have seen a bit of a drop in gas prices too.

For people who are looking to save even more on groceries, Montana has some options. Costco is popular and can help with saving some money, but that comes with the price of a membership.

There is another option when it comes to cheap groceries and this was a surprise to me because I don't normally think of this store when it comes to groceries. It isn't Walmart.

Montana’s Unexpected Grocery Leader

According to Net Credit the cheapest groceries in 15 states, including Montana, are found in Target stores. One of the reasons why Target beats others, is they offer a price match guarantee. That isn't just for other stores, they will price match products if it is found cheaper online.
