The Most Unique Hotel in Montana Is Opening Soon—Here’s a Sneak Peek

Montana has the luxury of some amazing views. We have some of the best viewing of celestial events. There have been multiple opportunities for us to see the Northern Lights the past year, and there is one particular location in Montana that is one of the best places to catch them.

Whenever my wife and I talk about travel, she will bring up the idea of heading to one of the Scandinavian countries to view them. Some of those countries are known to have hotels that have wake-up calls, so when the aurora borealis starts, they will wake you up for viewing.

Some locations also have "glass landscape hotels" where you can view so much more than just the Northern Lights. Now Montana is getting some of our own. There is no need to travel halfway across the world. You can experience the first of its kind glass landscape hotel in Montana.

Stay At The Views in Montana

Stay at the Views is a new kind of experience for Montana and they are hoping to open up by the end of this August. Kevin and Julia Rossi are the owners and builders of Stay at the Views. I recently spoke with Julia about the project.

So what can you expect from Stay at the Views? Rossi explained a bit about the experience and their inspiration for the project.

We wanted to really find a way to bottle the Montana views and experience in a very unique way. 

The rooms are designed with three glass walls, Rossi explains.

It has a queen-size bed in it, a full bathroom, a kitchenette, a little eating area inside, and then decks all the way across... it's basically like its own little pod, and then you walk outside and you kind of go up this little secret pathway area up into a sauna.

The rooms are designed to blend into their surroundings and be discreet from the outside. For the guests, it will be a totally different experience with incredible views of their surroundings.

The first rooms are located outside of Kalispell, with the hope of more to come.

Right now they are offering a perk program and are pre-booking reservations. This will give people an opportunity to get on the calendar before it opens to the public, get a discount and voucher that can be used within the first two years.
