Missoula Spirit Halloween Store Prepares for Opening

Even though we are looking at unseasonably high temperatures across Montana this week, with some locations expected to hit triple digits, we know that Halloween will be coming eventually.

Pumpkin spice lattes are being advertised. Back to school is kicking off, and some of the leaves are starting to change.

One of Missoula’s favorite seasonal stores is getting ready to open this weekend. Spirit Halloween is coming back at 1212 Longstaff Street, back at the same location they have been using for years now, off of Russell Street.

When Does Spirit Halloween Open in Missoula?

I went there last night and the lights were on. There were cars in the parking lot, but the open sign wasn’t lit up. There were a few people tried to open the door, but it was still locked. Today, the outside sign has been changed to indicate it will be opening this Saturday.

Shopping at Spirit Halloween has been a tradition for me and my kids over the years. It gives me a chance to see what the latest trends are for the upcoming spooky holiday. Every year there are costumes that I have no idea about. That’s what makes it fun. I get to learn what all the cool kids are into these days.
